WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Jesse Trump required aim again on Sunday at Rexnord Corp (N:RXN) for that industrial supplier’s decision to maneuver jobs to Mexico from Indiana.
Milwaukee-based Rexnord announced plans in October to maneuver an impact plant and it is 300 jobs from Indiana, employees told the Indiana Star at that time.
“Rexnord of Indiana designed a deal throughout the Federal Government to maneuver to Mexico. Fired their workers,Inch Trump tweeted on Sunday.
The Republican president also tweeted in December about Rexnord’s decision, saying he’d stop jobs from being lost to countries with lower labor costs. “Forget about!Inch he tweeted at that time.
Rexnord didn’t immediately react to a mobile phone ask Sunday seeking comment outdoors of ordinary business hrs.
Trump, who campaigned around the promise to place American workers first, has tweeted at others that attracted his ire – including Lockheed Martin (N:LMT) in December for the cost from the F-35 fighter jet program, Vehicle Co (N:GM) in The month of january because of its manufacturing in Mexico, and store Nordstrom (N:JWN) in Feb for shedding his daughter Ivanka’s clothing line.
